about
Analogue Sleep Tapes is an experimental, physical first project by NAAL. The idea: longform ambient compositions constructed using various physical prompts, designed specifically to help you focus, study, relax, or sleep, recorded directly on to a tape. Each cassette tape is a 1 of 1 edition, containing two unique long form compositions (an A side and B side). These compositions will be performed directly onto the tape with no digital mixing or mastering involved in the process. The result will be a collection of compositions designed specifically for the moment and medium in which they will be birthed. Once the initial run of tapes is completed, the tracks will be combined as a collection and released digitally.
